Mt Crosby residents of 38 years sustained significant damage to their home as a result of fallen tree branches during a violent storm in December, 2015. Council permission to remove the dangerous tree was denied. The residents contacted Cr Kate Richards for her assistance and advocacy to Council. The result? The tree was removed, and their peace of mind reinstated. A small willow will be planted in the hole (pictured) restoring flora to the front of their property. The couple expressed gratitude for Cr Kate for stepping in and representing their best interests to Council, thereby ensuring their property is well protected for the future.
