The 2017/2018 Budget will significantly enhance local infrastructure as well as the lifestyle and leisure opportunities in the Pullenvale Ward.
I am delighted to say this budget continues to deliver more local improvements and park upgrades for our Ward than ever before. $9.9 million will be invested in the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens and Reserve; $13 million is for the Moggill District Sports Park; $1.3 million for parks and footpath upgrades; and a further $3.3 million for road resurfacing, ensuring our local streets and our suburbs will continue to be well maintained and a wonderful place for residents to live and raise a family.
We will continue to accelerate the bushland protection program in our ‘green-belt’ with 10 years’ worth of land acquisitions fast-tracked over four years.
